In the more than forty years since, over 5,400 made-for-television films and miniseries have been produced. Television historian Alvin H. Marill has compiled a comprehensive listing of every one of these films, which have been assembled in this publication. But this is no mere list. The exhaustive entries cite each film's original network, airdate, and length of broadcast. Marill has spent his career in broadcasting, direct marketing, and publishing. Among his many books are The Complete Films of Edward G. Robinson and Robert Mitchum on the Screen, as well as Keeping Score and More Theatre: Stage to Screen to Television (both published by Scarecrow).
